How buying a beat works
Pick a beat and play it here or in the shop. When it fits, choose a licence and a master (Clean or Loud), fill in your name and artist name, and pay. The WAV and the MP3 arrive in your inbox a few seconds later, together with your licence: the document that says what you may do with the beat, on your artist name.
There is no account to create and no subscription. You pay once per beat, per licence. The download links stay valid for three days, so pull the files down straight away and keep them somewhere safe. Lost them later? Mail your order number and you get new links.
The three leases, explained
Every lease gives you a 24-bit WAV and a 320 kbps MP3, both with the TH6 tag. The Unlimited Lease adds the stems: every layer of the beat as its own file, so your engineer can mix the song around your vocal. Beyond that, what you pay for is how far you may take the song.
- Basic Lease, € 75: up to 100,000 streams, counted across every platform together.
- Premium Lease, € 110: up to 150,000 streams.
- Unlimited Lease, € 300: no stream limit at all.
On every lease you may sell the song, put it in a video, have it played on radio, perform it live and use it in sync. Beyond the stems that come with the Unlimited Lease, the difference is the number of streams.
Go past your number and you move up to the next licence by paying the difference, never the full price again. Nothing comes offline while that is sorted. It means you do not have to gamble € 300 on a song before you know what it will do.
| Licences | Files | Streams | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Lease | Tagged WAV + MP3 | Up to 100,000 | € 75 |
| Premium Lease | Tagged WAV + MP3 | Up to 150,000 | € 110 |
| Unlimited Lease | Tagged WAV + MP3 + stems | No limit | € 300 |
| Exclusive | Everything incl. stems, tag negotiable | No limit | On request |
Prices include 21% VAT. If you live outside the EU, you pay the same amount without VAT.
Buy 2, get 1 free: of every 3 beats in your cart the cheapest is free. 2 Unlimited Leases for € 500 instead of € 600. One deal per order; the best one applies by itself.
Lease or exclusive?
A lease is non-exclusive: other artists can lease the same beat. For most releases that is fine, and it is why a lease is affordable.
An exclusive takes the beat off the shop, so nobody can buy it after you. It is agreed in writing, per deal, including whether the tag comes off and what happens with the master share. An exclusive does not cancel the leases that were already sold; those keep running. Before an exclusive sale you get that count in writing, so you know it before you pay.
An exclusive licence is not a transfer of copyright. If you want everything, publishing included, that is a separate buy-out with its own price and its own deed. Mail info@th6gotit.com with the beat you are after and what you plan to do with it.
Clean or Loud master?
Every beat comes in two masters. You pick one at checkout, and both contain the tag.
- Clean (−14 LUFS): the level streaming services normalise to. Your vocal has headroom, and the song keeps its punch after Spotify or Apple Music turns it down. The safe choice for most releases.
- Loud (−9 LUFS): pushed and dense, for artists who want the beat to hit hard in a studio session or on a DJ set. Leave room for your vocal when you mix.
Both peak at −1 dBTP, so neither will clip when a platform converts it.
What a type beat is
A type beat is a beat in the style of a known artist: a Nemzzz type beat sounds like it could sit on a Nemzzz record. It says something about the sound, not about who made it. None of these artists are involved with TH6, and a type beat is not a beat they have used.
The TH6 catalogue has three lanes: hoodtrap in the lane of Nemzzz and Kidwild, sexy drill in the lane of Kehlani and Cash Cobain, and hip-hop in the lane of J. Cole. Each lane has its own page with the beats in it.
Splits and credits
Two numbers, agreed before you release instead of argued about after.
- Master: you keep 90%. TH6 keeps 10%, the producer’s share.
- Publishing: 50/50. The beat is the music half of the song, so TH6 is the composer and you are the writer of the lyrics and topline. No separate publisher’s share on top.
The mail with your files includes a short guide on how to add TH6 to your release on DistroKid and how to register the song with your collecting society. It takes five minutes, and it keeps the song clean when it starts to earn.
No samples to clear
Every sound in a TH6 beat is played, recorded or programmed by TH6, or comes from a source with a licence for commercial use. There are no uncleared fragments of existing records in the catalogue.
That matters more than it sounds. In the EU the owner of a recording can block even a two-second fragment, and a leased beat with an uncleared sample in it can get your song taken down after it has already found its audience.
Paying, VAT and where you can buy
Payment runs through Mollie: iDEAL, card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), paying through your bank and, for orders of € 150 or more, Klarna. The price you see is the price you pay. It includes 21% Dutch VAT for buyers in the EU; if you live outside the EU you pay the same amount, without VAT in it. A company in another EU country with a valid VAT number pays no Dutch VAT and gets an invoice.
The shop sells to the EU and to a list of countries outside it, including the United States, Canada (except Saskatchewan), Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, Japan, Singapore and South Africa. Not on the list? Mail info@th6gotit.com.
Need something made for you?
Besides the catalogue, TH6 makes beats written for one artist, commercial jingles and music for film. A custom beat comes with the WAV and the stems, and the exclusive rights are settled in writing before anything is delivered. The price is always agreed per project, up front, not as an hourly rate. Mail info@th6gotit.com with what you need.

Questions before you buy
What is the difference between the leases?
Every lease comes with a tagged WAV and MP3, and the Unlimited Lease adds the stems. The lease decides how far you can take the song: up to 100,000 streams on Basic, 150,000 on Premium and no limit on Unlimited. Go past your number and you pay the difference to move up, never the full price again.
Can I buy a beat exclusively?
Yes. An exclusive takes the beat off the shop and is agreed in writing, including whether the tag comes off. Mail info@th6gotit.com with the beat you want.
Is VAT included?
Yes, the prices include 21% VAT. If you live outside the EU you pay the same amount, without VAT in it.
How do I get the files?
Straight after payment you get a mail with the WAV, the MP3 and your licence. The download links stay valid for three days, so save the files somewhere safe.
Can you make something just for me?
Yes. Besides beats, TH6 makes custom beats, complete tracks, jingles and intros, sound design and music for film. The price is always agreed per project. Mail info@th6gotit.com with what you need.
Which files do I get?
A 24-bit WAV and a 320 kbps MP3 of the master you picked, both with the TH6 tag, plus your licence and a short guide to splits and credits. The Unlimited Lease and the Exclusive also come with the stems, every layer of the beat as its own file, in a separate mail within 8 hours.
Can I use the beat on YouTube, TikTok and Spotify?
Yes. Streams on every platform count together towards your lease. Video is allowed on every lease, so a music video or a visualiser is fine.
What happens if my song goes past the limit?
You move up to the next licence and pay the difference. The song does not come offline and you never pay the full price twice.
Can I get a refund?
A download starts the moment you pay, and at checkout you agree to that, so the 14-day cooling-off period ends once the files are delivered. If a file is broken, incomplete or not what the page said, it gets fixed, replaced or refunded.
Is TH6 a marketplace?
No. Every beat here is made by TH6 (Brownstone together with Birch). You deal with the person who made the beat, and questions go straight to him at info@th6gotit.com.
