First Frost
First Frost is a sexy drill beat in the lane of Kehlani and Cash Cobain, produced by TH6. It runs at 153 BPM in A#m and lasts 2:05. Play the preview, pick a licence, and the tagged WAV and MP3 arrive in your inbox straight away.
How First Frost is built
First Frost is the fastest beat in the catalogue at 153 BPM, and it builds instead of starting at full force. It opens from near silence and adds weight in steps: at 0:35, at 1:10 and again at 1:45, with a short dip at 1:42 just before that last lift. It cuts at 2:02. If you want a track that grows with the lyrics, verse by verse, the steps are already there.
Tempo, key and length
- Tempo: 153 BPM. In half time it feels like 77 BPM, which is how most artists count a sexy drill groove.
- Key: A#m. Its relative major is C# major, so a hook written in C# major fits without transposing.
- Length: 2:05, roughly 80 bars. That is room for two verses and a hook that comes back, or a shorter song with a longer intro.
- Produced by TH6.
