Files and delivery
How do I get the files after paying?
Straight after payment the download links go to the mail address you paid with; they usually arrive within a minute. You do not need an account.
Nothing arrived. Now what?
Send the order number and the address you paid with through contact. That is enough to find the order; screenshots are not needed.
What format are the files?
MP3 320 kbps and 24-bit WAV, both with the tag in them. Only on an exclusive deal is taking the tag off up for discussion. The Unlimited Lease and the exclusive also come with the stems: every layer of the beat as its own file, in a separate mail within 8 hours. No multi-part .rar archives.
Can I keep the files forever?
Yes. The licence does not expire and nothing has to be renewed. Keep a backup anyway: a download link is not storage.
Money
Can I get a refund?
At checkout you tick two boxes: one to start the download immediately, one to waive the 14-day cooling-off period. That waiver is what lets you have the files right away, and after that the sale is final. But not unconditionally: if a file is broken, incomplete or not what the page said it was, you keep your rights under Dutch law and it gets fixed or refunded.
Which currency, and is VAT included?
Euros, and yes: the prices include 21% VAT. If you live outside the EU, you pay the same amount, without VAT in it. The receipt splits it out before you pay. Buying for a company gets you an invoice.
Licences and rights
What is the difference between the three licences?
Mostly how far you may go. All three give you the tagged MP3 and the WAV, the Unlimited Lease adds the stems, and what you may do is identical: sell it, video, radio, live, sync. The number is the streams: 100,000, 150,000, or no limit at all. Read it all on licences.
What if I go past my stream count?
Then you move up to the next licence and pay only the difference, never the full amount again. Mail info@th6gotit.com with your order number and it gets sorted. Your track does not have to come down for it.
Someone already leased the beat. Can I still buy it exclusive?
Yes, and you get the count before you pay: how many non-exclusive licences are already out there. Those stay valid; no shop can withdraw a licence it already sold.
Do I have to credit TH6?
Yes, always: prod. TH6 wherever credits appear, and the other producer too if the beat was made with one. It is part of every lease, and it links your song to its producers in the stores and in credit databases. Only an exclusive deal can drop it, in writing.
Can I monetise on YouTube?
Yes. TH6 does not register beats in Content ID, so nothing of yours gets claimed by this catalogue.
What is the split if my track blows up?
On the master TH6 keeps 10% and you keep 90%; with a second producer that 10% is split, 5% each. On the publishing it is 50/50 as composer, with the composer half split the same way. Both are fixed before you release and neither moves with the numbers. On an exclusive the master share is agreed per deal, in writing, before anything is delivered.
